A fresco is not just a decoration that can be added at the end of a project. It is an intervention in the very structure of the space that influences the perception and functionality of the room. For this reason, it should be part of the design from the very beginning. Its placement is key to achieving the optimal effect. The earlier it is integrated into the project, the better its harmony with the overall space will be reflected.

Process

Each project begins with a deep perception of the space and the character of the client. Frescoes by Il Magnifico are the result of an intensive creative process, where the main element is the artist's direct contact with the given space. This is not a "typical" design application. It is a unique, authorial process that shapes the space based on its essence.

How is a fresco created?

  • Selection of the space
The process begins with a detailed perception of the environment where the fresco will be placed. The artist focuses on the unique elements that define the space – light, texture, proportions, and atmosphere. This process helps determine what kind of photograph is suitable for the specific space.

  • Original (Author's) Photography                                       Each fresco begins with an original author's photograph, carefully designed for the specific project. This photograph is not just an image – it is a work of art that creates a dialogue with the rest of the space while expressing the character of the client. Each fresco is a one-of-a-kind original – the artist never replicates the same photograph twice.

  • Application on concrete                                                        After capturing the original photograph, the process moves to the wall, where the image is applied using a unique technique. The fresco is permanently bonded to the concrete – every detail is encoded into this lasting application. This step means the photograph is non-transferable and cannot be relocated in the future.

  • Final Effect                                                                               The resulting fresco is a work of art that not only enchants but also deeply impacts the space. Its application on concrete makes it non-transferable and unchangeable. Any damage may require restoration, which is carried out to restore the original value and appearance of the piece.

What makes this fresco unique?

  • Non-transferability                                                                     Any Il Magnifico fresco is a permanent part of the space.  It is not an element that can be moved or altered.

  • Unique Creation Process                                                 The fresco is applied by hand, and each piece is unique. Its authenticity and connection to the specific space are what make it a highly valuable element.

  • Special Materials Used                                                              In addition to the photograph, natural minerals such as concrete and Czech garnet are used in the works, bringing an energetic and spiritual aspect to each piece.
