Architectural Fresco as a Concept
The unique photographic frescoes of Il Magnifico are created directly on the wall – in raw concrete, in direct dialogue with the architecture.
This is not a decorative image, but a conceptual intervention that defines the space before decisions are made about furniture or curtains.
Each fresco originates from an original authorial photograph, designed exclusively for a specific project. The process begins with a deep sensitivity to the space and the personality of the client.
The final photograph is permanently transferred onto the concrete wall – immovably, irreversibly, with a single backed-up original kept solely for potential future restoration.
The resulting work is not merely a visual element – it holds architectural value.
Its immovability and spatial integration significantly enhance both the aesthetic and market potential of the site.
In addition to these signature, site-specific pieces, Il Magnifica also creates frescoes in the form of standalone artworks – characteristic of the brand and released once a year as a limited edition available for public purchase.
Signature with a Bohemian Garnet
Each Il Magnifica fresco bears the artist's signature in the form of an inlaid Bohemian garnet – a mineral deeply rooted in the Czech landscape, cultural heritage, and spiritual symbolism.
The garnet serves as a subtle detail that connects the artwork to its creator, brings harmony into the space, and quietly carries the intention behind the piece.
It is a gesture that makes each work even more personal.
